TELESCOPIC LENS SYSTEM
Torch - or flashlight mode
When the lens is up this SAFETY TORCH is in torch mode and can be used for signalling others and/or illuminating your surroundings. You can switch to flashlight mode by pushing the lens slowly till you hear a clicking sound. To switch back to torch mode just firmly push the lens and the lens will eject after you hear a click.

5 licht functions
Activate the SAFETY TORCH by pushing the button on the bottom. Keep pushing the button to switch between the 5 light functions(soft white, boost white, blink white, blink red, boost red). After using one light function for more than 30 sec. the SAFETY TORCH will turn off the next time you push the button.

BACK-UP BATTERY SYSTEM
Switch from main battery to back-up battery
Pull the battery pack out of the SAFETY TORCH. Place 4 (AAA 1.5/LR03) alkaline batteries. The two left batteries are considered battery set 1 and the two right batteries - set 2. When one battery set is empty you can switch to the other battery set by pulling out the battery pack, rotating it for 180°and sliding it back into the SAFETY TORCH.

Automatic / manual battery check
The energy level is constantly checked by the intelligent battery check system. When the energy level of the active battery set is below 20% the SAFETY TORCH will automatically blink red. It’s also possible to check the energy level manually.
